  Welcome to the Confirmation program. Confirmation is the third of the Church’s three sacraments of initiation. Baptism is the first, when we receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We become members of the Christian community. Second is Eucharist. In Confirmation we receive a strengthening of the gifts bestowed on us at Baptism.
  Confirmation calls a new generation into the vision and purpose of the Christian community. It teaches us how to live a full and rich life as disciples of Christ, and how we can help make the world a better place for everyone!
  The Confirmation program offers you and theh sponsor the unique opportunity to join your child as he or she journeys through the Catholic faith.
  A vital part of living your faith life is attending Mass. The Mass schedule for our parish can be found here: esscatholic.ca/mass-times

  If you are paying by envelope, please be sure to include a note that the money is for Confirmation, the Candidate's name, as well as what school they attend.
