Mr. Igor Lobortas - Lobortas Classic Jewellery House

Erie Shores South Catholic Family of Parishes is excited to welcome Mr. Igor Lobortas to St. Michael's Parish at the 8:30am Mass on Friday, Aug 26. Mr. Lobortas, the owner of Lobortas Classic Jewellery House, (in Toronto & Kyiv, Ukraine) is presenting our Parish with a gift, which will be blessed by Fr. Tom, for all the work we have done with fundraising for Ukraine. Thank you to Mr Igor Lobortas, who flew from Ukraine to gift our parish with a miniature replica of St Michael the Archangel. He had the original and unique sculpture (7 meters) designed and constructed over a water fountain in Kiev, Ukraine, where he lives. In his speech to us after Mass, he noted that he feels connected to us because we both are under the awesome protection & patronage of Saint Michael. Igor said that all is done through our hands, for the glory of God and that is how he inspires to create beautiful pieces of jewelry, art & sculpture. Thank you Igor, for your generous gift. God bless you and all of our brothers and sisters in your homeland, Ukraine. Mr. Igor Lobortas also donated a beautiful pendant for the Ukraine fundraiser auction (it is the pendant pictured below with the Canadian maple leaf).
